There have been a few times in the past when somebody asked me a question that would have been very easily answered if they would have tried to search on Google. However, it might have been easy for them to ask so they did. This is a tricky situation, because many things go through your mind. You want the person to become self-dependent but also want to be able to come to you when they have a genuine question etc. etc.
So few days ago I came across a very neat website called "Let me google that for you"
You enter a search term and it generates a link that'll show an animation on how to do a Google search for a term that you would want the user to do. Ofcourse the person you send to should have a sense of humour and confidence so they can take it

 There are some nice blooming roses with the different colors in the backyard. We are thoroughly enjoying every morning when we wake up and peek out of the window to spot the roses - blooming ones and also the new budding ones. It gives us immense happines!!!
We are starting to realize that rose plants require a lot of maintenance which we are again learning slowly. In the recent weeks, some of the rose plants started to wilt - due to overwatering  .
Tip: Never overwater the Rose plants.
Also taking pics of roses has become our pass time activity, every rose has a different character, depth etc.... Here are some pics which you can freely use for your desktop backgrounds or for frames on your walls

 After few weeks into the new home, we are finally finding time to do a bit of gardening. Although our backyard is still a mess :), we are going at it as we learn & experiment. Few days ago while removing some of the weeds, we were pleasantly surprised to discover a few Honey Tomato plants in the corner of the backyard. As days go by, we are seeing more & more tomatoes growing. Today, we plucked a few and believe us, they were the sweetest we have ever tasted.

Now that you have introduction to Vastu through my article about http://vigyaan.com/articles/misc/10-miscellaneous/41-vastu.html, I would like to post some highly recommended directions of the rooms.
- Master Bed Room: Southwest corner of the home is the best suited location for the Master BR. Southwest - representing Niruti (demon) grants purity, cleanliness and eradicates fear of enemies. This is direction in which the room of head of the house should be located.
- Kitchen: Ideal location for Kitchen is southeast corner of the home. Southeast - representing Agni, the God of fire grants energy vigor and beautiful personality. Children rooms and rooms specifically for any one should be avoided as it leads to anger, stress.
- Prayer Room: NorthEast corner is the most auspicious corner of the home and is proper location for God. Northeast - representing Ishwar grants us wisdom, divinity and relieves us from sufferings. Bedrooms in this section should be avoided.
- Bath Room: According to bathroom vastu, bathroom is located in North or North-West portion of the house. If bathroom is located in wrong direction, it can cause health and financial problems. Bathroom should not be in South, South-East and South-West direction. South sided bathroom can cause adverse effects on the health of female members.
- Living Room: According to Vastu Shastra living room or drawing room should be located in east or north direction. The ideal location of a living room depends on plot facing. The living room can be in northeast direction for east and north facing house. The living room can be in northwest for west facing house. In south facing house, living room can be in southeast.
- Avoid West Facing plot or west facing main entrance for the home.
